Amy Downen
Hi, I’m Amy Downen—a passionate marketer, event strategist, and lifelong learner who believes in doing more good than harm. Born and raised in North Carolina, I’ve always had a love for connection, creativity, and making a positive impact. With an MBA in Marketing from East Carolina University (2015) and a bachelor's from UNCG (2011), I’ve built a diverse professional background that spans roles like Marketing Operations Manager, Director of Development, Communications Contractor, Business Owner, Executive Team Leader, and Lead Trainer/Customer Service Manager.
When I’m not helping businesses and leaders succeed, you’ll find me traveling to new destinations, cheering on my favorite sports teams, or spending time with my husband (a proud Army soldier) and our beloved fur babies. Whether I’m leading a campaign, planning an event, or mentoring a team, my goal is always to combine expertise with purpose to leave the world a little better than I found it, and I’ve created ADME to do just that!
Kaylee Lewis
Kaylee Lewis, our fantastic Client Success Manager, is a senior at Appalachian State University. She is currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, where she is building a strong foundation in branding, consumer behavior, digital marketing, and strategic communications. Passionate about creative problem-solving and helping businesses connect with their audiences, she brings fresh ideas, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset to every project.
When she's not studying or working on marketing initiatives, Kaylee enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved dogs, Truffles and Cocoa. Her positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail make her a valuable member of the ADME team as she continues to grow both personally and professionally.
ADME Internships
At ADME | Amy Downen Marketing + Events, we believe that the best way to prepare future professionals is through real-world experience. Our internship program is designed to help students and aspiring professionals develop practical marketing skills while building confidence, strengthening their personal brands, and gaining meaningful career experience. Rather than assigning busy work, ADME interns actively contribute to client projects, content creation, branding initiatives, social media management, market research, and day-to-day business operations, giving them valuable exposure to the marketing industry.
Summer interns Ethan (high school) and Seilah (middle school) have been integral members of the ADME team during both the 2025 and 2026 summer internship programs. Throughout their internships, they have worked alongside clients while continuing to develop their own professional identities, resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and personal brands. This hands-on approach allows interns to discover their strengths, build transferable skills, and create portfolios that prepare them for future academic and career opportunities. At ADME, internships are more than a learning experience—they're an investment in developing confident, capable professionals who understand the value of collaboration, creativity, leadership, and serving others.
